Marianna Pieterse

I grew up in Pretoria, Gauteng, RSA. As a teenager, I always imagined myself writing stories.

In 1998 I met my now husband Rayn, and tied the knot in 2001. In 2004 we embarked on a European adventure and returned to South African in 2006. That same year we decided to uproot our lives and relocate to Cape Town. Between 2010 and 2016 we were blessed with three daughters.

I completed a Certificate via Write Academy specifically with a focus on children story writing which I thoroughly enjoyed and have completed another course with them to enhance my passion and story writing.

I am a member of the West Coast Writers Circle in Milnerton, Cape Town, RSA. We meet monthly for interactive and insightful meetings. I'm excited to see where my writing journey will lead to.
